I am adding a couple of new translations of courses in Polish and Spanish to an existing English language Moodle site. We expect to add more courses in these languages and other languages, probably 5 or 6 languages total. Currently we have about a dozen courses in English, but only 1 each translated to Polish and Spanish. So I am contemplating how best to list the courses on the home page. I am running Moodle 3.3 with the latest update of the Essential theme.
I have created course categories for each language. After we get a lot of the courses translated, it will make sense to just have the categories listed on the home page. But with most of our courses being in English now that probably isn't the best approach initially.
I would welcome suggestions on how best to organize the home page.
I also have not been able to find the setting in the Essential theme to display categories and lists of courses. I know I have done this before when building other sites. Where is the setting for displaying lists of courses vs. categories on the home page?
