Here's what I get with a simple curl test with https ... which defaults to use port 443
curl -I https://lemon.edu/
curl: (7) Failed to connect to lemon.edu port 443: Connection refused
PORT STATE SERVICE
443/tcp closed https
An oath2 server providing identity information would want to talk to moodle servers via https ... not http
