How to enable institution field on sign up page in moodle 3.3 ?

I am working on moodle 3.3, we need institution field on signup page.

I have checked the moodle code, there are code for institutions in lib files but not showing on signup page.

How can we enable institution field from moodle administration ?

A similar question was asked here, with no response yet. You might want to open a feature request on the Moodle Tracker.

In the meantime  you'll have to either create a new plugin (preferred method) or customise the built in signup form (strongly discouraged).
