Updating a SCORM module does not replace the old one

Updating a SCORM module does not replace the old one

Hello,

So I am editing some scorm modules. Removing some simple visual elements, no rocket science.

After I made the changes on the packages, local on my computer, I wanted to re-upload them in moodle. I tried deleting the old one from the course and re-uploading the new on; tried to create new course; tried ... tried ... nothing worked. When I access the scorm package it will run the old one, with the old pictures.

Server:

- Moodle v3.3.4+

- OS CentOS release 6.7 (Final) (uname -a): Linux lms 2.6.32-573.22.1.el6.x86_64 #1 SMP Wed Mar 23 03:35:39 UTC 2016 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

- PHP 5.6.33 (cli) (built: Jan  3 2018 13:11:40)

Apache/2.2.15 (Unix)

- HTTPS: ON

If you have any thoughts on what is going on here, please share.

Thank you,

Regards,

Bogdan

Thank you Melanie for your interest in my issue!

It looks like I made a confusion, so my mistake. I sorted it out.

Moodle uses the packed .swf file in the package and I did not decompile it to edit. I only edited the .html files and other resources in the package and opened the scorm from the index.html.

In the end, it was rocket science blush
