Hi,

I wanted to know that could we use Moodlecloud as a workplace  learning? As we noticed there are no options to change language string(i.e. students to learners) and also couldn't add corporate related plugins.

Thank you,

Azmat

Hello Azmat. You may use MoodleCloud for any kind of training and learning, but as you have realised, there are limitations to the product. You cannot certain aspects and you cannot add plugins. If you want a more specific workplace learning package, then you can either download, install and set Moodle up yourself as you wish, or you can contact one of our official Moodle Partners and discuss your needs with them.

Hi Azmat,

What Mary said is definitely the right answer, but more specifically, you can rename the roles names on a per-course basis, using the form at the bottom of the course settings page. More information about this can be seen on https://docs.moodle.org/34/en/Course_settings#Role_renaming

Thank you for the message. Yes you're right we can change role on course basis and also system level role can be rename by an administrator using Administration > Site administration > Users > Permissions > Define roles
