We recently converted our site from http to https (no idea if this is relevant) and now the forums on our course will not update on the app only. It works fine if logged in on a PC.

what do you mean "the forums on our course will not update on the app"?
Do you mean that you don't see new discussions or posts?
If you refresh the screen (Pull down to refresh) or using the top right menu do you see any change?
