academics cannot login

Hello,

i have an issue where all of a sudden teaching stuff and admins cannot login (my self as administrator can, also students can), if i restart host machine academics are able to login again, this occurs randomly, there are no errors in the event viewer and no messages are displaying if i turn on debugging - note that the page keeps trying to load but then an internal 500 server error comes up

Any help would be greatly appreciated

i think the error is coming from the mdl_user table, as it does not let me change anything in that table indicating a timeout error, note that when i try to delete a user from moodle interface or change the authentication method from LDAP to manual site hangs and gives me a 500 internal server error again
