Hi Juan,

this is an old thread, but the issue remains.  We are using the official Moodle app from the Apple Store on an iPhone w/iOS v 11.4.1.  The app is 3.5.1 and the Moodle site is 3.3.6.  

The email link is launching Safari on the iPhone.
