How to remove/hide default Miscellaneous category

Hi,

  If i create a new course it shows default category as a Miscellaneous, it is possible to remove/hide Miscellaneous category while c ourse creation., because in below image in navigation bar the course shows the default category as Miscellaneous, but i have to remove/hide that category in course selection. anyone guide me to handle this problem.

Hello,

You can rename the Miscellaneous category to anything you want, and if your site has only one category, as far as I know, it won't be shown in the navigation.
