Hi guys,

Do you know if there is an available plug-in that we can use like online shopping. We're planning to use moodle as a shopping platform for our students who have earned a certain points to purchase something (products/merchandise) once they logged in the LMS.

Hi Joyce

We have started the process to validate a full moodle integrated shopping plugin set that priovides and online store 100% moodle, we are working on for 3 years and comming to maturity.

At the moment i do not know when the whole will be able to pass all moodle contribution tests and requirements but we hope it will come soon.

In the meanwhile you can take a look to the online english documentation at :

Which gives an entry point to tho whole set.

Has there been any movement on this plug-in?  Is it approved by Moodle?

If so, can you advise cost??

As of now, using the Moodle ecosystem as a complete shopping platform is somewhat difficult to achieve. But I believe, Moodle can be integrated with other CMS like Wordpress to create a shopping platform and sell your online Moodle courses.

The integration with Wordpress helps as it is one of the best CMS's out there and the process for integrating it is also not complex.

Why don't you take a look at Edwiser Bridge which lets you sell your online Moodle courses through Wordpress? All your Courses, course categories, and users are handled by Edwiser Bridge. It also has PayPal integrated into it which makes it a suitable solution for your need of a shopping platform for Moodle courses.
