Our host informs me we have exceeded our storage capacity.  Is there a way in Moodle that I can check to see what teachers have large files stored on the server?

MIght help.

+ do you have automated backups turned on?   Turn off.

There is a way to find out all files and sizes but only via direct query of your DB.   Two step process to remove ... one via any file browsing tool to view/find files in moodledata/filedir/ (files are not stored by humanly recongnizable names but the contentrhash).   And step two would involve carefully removing the row in the mdl_files table that matches the file one wants to remove.   Unless you know what you are doing, wouldn't advise.   Just sharing to let you know there is another way ... other than plugin.
