Thanks guys and great work
Any help on this please???
if you want to change the Site policy you'd need to build a custom app, in any case, for Moodle 3.5 we'll include a new setting to be able to change this via the site.
Re the about, we are not going to allow to change the name of the app since is "Moodle Mobile", the same name displayed when they downloaded it.
Many thanks for your input its much appreciated. So when people pay for the moodle branding service, in fact it will still have moodle app labelled in the about page? i thought the purpose of paying for a white label branding service is to show the company name rather than moodle app.
So my next question, is there a way of disabling the about link on the App Settings menu?
thanks again and great work Juan.
our policy is that the name of the app you download is the same that the one in the About page, so branded apps will display their own name.
Right now there is no way for disabling the about link (maybe you could do that via CSS and the app remote theme, but it would be tricky)
Can I ask why having the "Moodle Mobile" on the About page is so much trouble? They downloaded an app called "Moodle Mobile" from the stores, right? (Just curiosity, feel free to ignore me)
Many thanks again for your help, basically i have been attempting to make a custom app and called the app something else but for some reason it still shows "Moodle Mobile" in the About. I just wanted my custom name on it, everything else is customized and sitting in google play dev account with a custom app name but i feel im missing something with why its still showing "Moodle Mobile".
Am i missing something? I suppose the simple alternative is to disable that menu hence why i asked the question.
Thanks again buddy
