Progress bar as activity

Hi everyone,

I'm looking for the solution to the request of progress bar that would show the progress of students automatically but as the activity not the block.

I know there is a check list activity but this doesn't really help me: we want our students to see their progress filled in automatically.

Is there any tool that can help me?

Moodle version 3.3

Why doesn't the checklist activity help in this case?

Checklist instances can be set to show a list of activities in the course (or just the current section) and they can be set to automatically update when activities are completed (optionally allowing students to override the checkmarks, but that can be disabled).
