set Default Font in editor??

I'd like to use Courier in all my correspondence with students in order to provide a consistent "voice" that is easily recognizable.

Unfortunately, the editor window always starts set on trebuchet font and I must remember to manually change the font every time I edit my messages.

Is there a way to change the default font in my editor?

Hi Chris,

To change the default font, please check Administration >> Configuration >> Editor settings.

Chris,
If you have system-level admin access, you can change this in the Administration > Editor Settings area. There you can add fonts that are not already available in the editor (with the usual cautions about font availability varying from user to user) and also change the order in which they appear (and therefore also the default font).

But this changes the default font for everyone, right?

Any way to change it to courier just for the teacher and leave it otherwise for the students?

Yeah, it sure does. There is no "user preference" for fonts (like there is for languages, for instance) that I am aware of, which is what you would be looking for it seems...
