Assignment not working properly. Roles mess.

Hi, I have a fresh install of moodle 3.2.1

When I add an assignment in a course it doesn't show up for enrolled students.

In "define roles": mod/assign:view is set to "allow" for student and "prohibit" for authenticated users.

If I change to "allow" for authenticated users now enrolled students can see assignment.

Any suggestions?

Why was it set to "prohibit" for authenticated users? The default is Not Set? You should be able to set it back to the default of Not Set and your assignment should display for students.
