I have a course which has few SCORM packages added as activity. I was wondering if it is possible to track the progress within a SCORM activity. For eg. a user takes a SCORM activity and maybe closes it midway of the course. Can we show in percentage how much of the activity has been completed? Is this something SCORM provides. Currently it shows if the activity is completed or not, number of attempts and grade.
Scorm packages can choose how much information to pass back to Moodle (or any LMS). There isn't a default "progress" parameter that is passed to the LMS. So unless you are the creator of the SCORM activity and you have implemented a custom parameter that tracks this, I'm afraid there is no data to report within Moodle.
Hi , Did you get the solution for this ? It will be very help when it be shared.
I don't think SCORM will support this level of reporting. Could you switch to xAPI instead?
Although standard SCORM does not push a plethora of data into Moodle, IntelliBoard does capture and display attempts, start/completion times, grade and time spent.
