When I run and open a Learner Data report that includes Course Completion Date/Time, Excel formats the data in that column in two different ways. Some are “General” (either dashes indicating the course hasn’t been completed or the dates are left justified and have the time in hh:mm:ss format) and some are “Custom (dates/times are right justified and are in hh:mm format).
If I remove all formatting, the "Custom" formatted data becomes a number like 42498.7084375. I understand (at least I think I do!) that the data was in unix/epoch format but even formatting the numbers I have creates dates that are all in 1970.
The worst part about it is that when a colleague in the UK (I'm in the US) opens the same report, it displays correctly without any changes necessary. Does anyone have any suggestions as to how to get these dates to work for me? Thanks in advance!
