Recently there was a requirement from a major firm who asked to suggest us the recommended server specs for Moodle installation. They wanted to host it on their internal cloud server.
Their requirements were
Number of Users: Up to 3 lakhs
Concurrent Users: 20,000 scalable to 30,000
Size of Content: Upto 1000 hours of SCORM Elearning
The configuration suggested should be in the terms of
· Web Servers
· Database Servers
· Report Servers
· Application Servers
· Load Balancers
· File Servers
· Resource Monitoring Servers and any other Servers
· Any Licensing software (that can be used)
