With the Moodle version 3.3.1+ (Build : 240812017) the Grid Format works perfectly, but when I have updated to Moodle version 3.4 and after re-installing the Grid Format with 3.4.0.1 (2017111800) the following message appears : "Cannot convert uploaded image to displayed image"
In addition this problem doesn't appear in all courses, but when the curse show the grid format we lost all uploaded images and the grid is empty.
Any reason / solution for this ?

The second half of that error message reads "Please report error details and the information contained in the php.log file to developer." - hint, hint.

Those are the Apache logs and not the PHP logs. Please try again.
"PHP Warning: getimagesize(): PNG file corrupted by ASCII conversion in C:\xampp\htdocs\moodle\course\format\grid\lib.php on line 2274" = server misconfiguration on your part.
