problem with Latex function output in Drag&Drop

Hello,

in our Drag & Drop question of a math test, the answers are not rendered (see screenshot). We suspect that we have to set / enter something in the plugin, but unfortunately we can not continue here.

Can you help us here?

thanks a lot!

How did you solve the problem?

I see that it was before my answer in the German community: https://moodle.org/mod/forum/discuss.php?d=362996. That is the problem, when you ask the same question in different places.

Hey,
Sorry, Someone gave me the tip to try it in the english forum. And I don't know how I can delete the entry.

I had to include Mathjax as an addictional html.

No, you can not delete your post once the 30 min for editing is over. (Well, unless you trouble the moderators.) You could post a reply in the Geman thread saying that the problem is solved and provide the Link to this discussion.

Ideally, if you _have_ to post in two places, at least mention where the follow up should be.

Back to the topic: Could you please tell me how "to include Mathjax as an addictional html"?

I wrote this code

<script type="text/javascript"
   src="https://cdnjs.cloudflare.com/ajax/libs/mathjax/2.7.2/MathJax.js?config=TeX-AMS-MML_HTMLorMML">

</script>

into the HEAD under /Site administration/Appearence/Additional HTML

Thanks a lot.

 Who can do this modification...I am a simple moodle user. Only an administrator can fix that, right ?

Best,

Etienne

Re: problem with LaTeX function output in Drag&Drop

Hi,

this solution does not work for our Moodle 3.1.10. So we have changed the settings of Mathjax (Plugins > Filters > Mathjax > Configuration Mathjax) by this :

MathJax.Hub.Config({
  config: ["MMLorHTML.js"],
  jax: ["input/TeX","input/MathML","output/HTML-CSS","output/NativeMML", "output/PreviewHTML"],
  extensions: ["tex2jax.js","mml2jax.js","MathMenu.js","MathZoom.js", "fast-preview.js", "AssistiveMML.js", "a11y/accessibility-menu.js"],
  TeX: {
    extensions: ["AMSmath.js","AMSsymbols.js","noErrors.js","noUndefined.js"]
  }
});

Found on this page : http://docs.mathjax.org/en/latest/config-files.html

The problem seems to be solved !

Hi,

Latex is needed in the question's text in order to work properly for the responses !
