I have set up the email based self enrolment on moodle version 3.4 but using google or outlook I am unable to send out going mail and looking through the forum a number of other people have had this issue but nothing to say how people got round the problem. I have tried to open port on the firewall, lowered the security levels on googles own site same with outlook. This would be great to resolve as 30 students will be testing my site and it would be easier for them to email self enrol than for me having to enter everyones details in manually.
