I recently upgraded my campus version of Moodle to 3.3 and in setting up my test boxes, I'm running into a little conundrum. I've setup automated backups on my production server and have them saved in /opt/moodledata as well as a secondary folder, /opt/coursebackup/. The problem is, on my test box, which is an exact copy of my production box, I'm unable to setup the backup to an external folder. I keep getting the following error:
I've verified that SELinux isn't causing any issued by setting it to permissive, I've verified the configuration files for nginx as well as php-fpm, I've set facls to allow nginx user access to that folder, but I'm still having issues. I've turned on debugging, but it's not dumping anything to logs.
I've tried setting it as a few different folders as well, the only one that works is my moodledata directory. I've changed the permissions on /opt/mdev/c1/coursebackup/ to match the permissions on moodledata and that still didn't work. Need some steps to keep troubleshooting this, any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks
