I am using moodle 3.1 and have found that within a book activity, each time I set my style of navigation to TOC Only, this setting prevents activity completion when its set to 'Student must view this activity to complete it'. Is there a way around hiding the navigation arrows but retaining the activity completion.
I'm on 3.2 and it seems that automatic completion only works when a user visits the last chapter/sub-chapter in the book - regardless of the navigation method.
