Open attempts are submitted automatically in moodle not working

Hi,


I am using moodle 2.7.

I have  created a quiz and many students feedback is that they are getting Zero score, even if they attempts the quiz after the time lapse. When the check the attempts it is shown like below attached pic. 

Please help on the same.

You have cut your screen grab so that some relevant information is not shown.

However, in this case, it looks like the student did not input an answer to the question, so of course they got no marks.
