set Marking workflow - not populating gradebook

All,

I'm wondering can you help me. When I change the marking workflow on an assignment to "released" the marks are not visible to the student and they are not passed to the grade book. Is there a setting that I'm missing or a trick to "update" the gradebook with the scores from the assignment .

Hello Mark. I will just move your post to the Assignments forum to see if you get more assignment fans over there... I would have thought "released" meant the grades are visible to students (unless the actual grade is manually hidden anyway) - I will have  a look more tomorrow and let's see if others in other hemispheres have some ideas too..
