Completion based upon grade

Completion based upon grade

Moodle is all about individualised learning, and I'd like to make it more so by restricting students from progressing on unless they have achieved a specific grade in a quiz or activity.

So, if student A is targeted to achieve 80% in the final assessment, each Moodle quiz should not be marked as complete unless they have achieved a minimum of 80% in that quiz; whilst student B is targeted at 50%, so they have a lower threshold to pass by.

I have a Profile Field with each student's target grade. Yet, the Restrict Access option that offers Profile Fields does not treat them as numerical in any way.

The actual quiz Pass grade is a simple value (50, for example) and I cannot direct this at all to a grade in the gradebook or a field in their profile.

Can anyone think of a way to stop students moving on unless they have achieved a grade tailored to their own, personal target?
