Hello,
we are using UserIDs from external source, but there are two major problems.
The optional idnumber field in the user profile might fit, but ...
1. Moodle does not test, if UserIDs are unique.
2. UserIDs are not sorted numerically but alphabetically
This way we can easily create duplicate userids.
Is this the intended behaviour? Why?
