We want to use the Dialogue-plugin for delivering personal study material (PDFs) to the students. Now we are looking into options to prune the files when the student is no longer on the platform in order to avoid massive amounts of data that has no further use.
Manual pruning is of course out of the question.
When deleting the student from the course or even the platform any files attached to dialogues delivered to her/him remain in the dialogues.
What happens when deleting a dialogue-activity? I would expect/hope that all attachments within would be deleted as well? This would not be an ideal solution, but we could delete dialogue-activities on a regular basis and start a new one. Problem is to make sure that active students have saved their files beforehand.
Any ideas how we could achieve this? Or is there a better plugin to achieve what we want that has pruning-capabilities?
