I am working in Moodle 3.3 with Essential Theme 3.3.
We have added the Zoom Plugin activity on our site.
I would like to give students the permission to add a Zoom Web-conferencing Activity so that they can coordinate synchronous discussions without teacher involvement.
The issue that I am facing is that the only way I can give students the permission to add and setup a Zoom Activity is to give them the permission to Manage Activities which also gives them the ability to delete and edit other non-Zoom activities.
Is there a way to give students the permission to add a particular activity without giving them any other permissions (specifically editing and deleting other activities)?
If not, does anyone have a suggestion about how to give students the ability to coordinate synchronous web-conferencing sessions through Moodle without teacher involvement?
