Hi,

today some users reported that they get this error

Unfortunately, cookies are currently not enabled in your browser

one was using Firefox, but when using chrome it worked fine.

other was vice versa, she can log in to Moodle using firefox but with chrome, she got this error

I tried solutions here and here but nothing worked.

this problem was solved since Moodle 2.0 as I read, and I just receive this error today.

I still didn't try this solution "add  $CFG->usesid=true; in config.php"

what does this line do?

the time of one of the pc getting the error was wrong, but I could open moodle using firefox but not chrome.

cookies are enabled.

nothing changed in firewall settings since yesterday.

====

update

this  is to enable session for old Moodle (1.9) which is not needed now

===

my setting in

Administration > Site administration > Server > Session Handling>cookie path is

/

is that correct
