I did a custom role for a specific course and it's a bit tricky because I only want users to upload and move activities.
But I don't want them to have the ability to edit the course, see hidden sections or some restricted section.
It's actually working partially, because users can activate editing move, upload files and move activities.
But when I move or upload a file, I lose the possibility to move them again or edit them until I refresh the course page (see the screenshot).
I don't know if it's a Moodle issue, and I know it's unusual to let students upload directly in the course.
I would like some suggestions that could maybe solve the problem.
