Hi Sandra,

Normally, the "Require view" option is available for Journal only if Completion Tracking is turned on for the course. Is yours on?

Yes, this option is enabled.

But, I looked at others course and even being enabled, this option is not visible.

I can not imagine what other configuration I should check.
