Manually add user gives "invalid user"

Hello, I do my first steps with moodle and setup my own moodle installation. Everything went well, but from today I can not add users manually anymore. I get the "invalid user" message if I try so. Last things I did Enable email based Registration Add Google recaptcha2 Add Moodle Welcome plugin I use Moodle Development Version 20171103 Any ideas, whats going wrong? Thank you in advance Enno

There was another thing I changed. Probably this caused the error. I added an "other field" to users profile called Gender which is a Dropdown list with 3 elements (male, female, unknown). Adding new user manually was impossible. After removing this field from user profile fields, adding new users manually was again possible. Is this a bug or intended behaviour? Thank you Enno
