 This is an old problem . I'll give it a try again after almost 3 years:

It seems a bug to me:

I would like to use hidden pages in the book module for the teachers.
I can hide a page but it is totally invisible once the editing mode is turned off

The teacher will only notice the existence hidden page when he turns editing on.

hidden page- visible for teachers - editing on:

hidden page not visible for anyone editing turned off

I expected that a reacher could still see the page . The same way the teacher sees all the hidden subjects

I dont see any practical use for the current possibility to make hidden pages in the editing mode if the result is not visible for anyone out of the editing mode.

Is there a way to solve this problem?
