Detected invalid response value When Accessing Chat

Hi Dani,

I am facing another issue with the Moodle Mobile app. This time in relation to a Chat activity. This involves the same site, as my previous topic Self-Enrollment with Key Does Not Prompt User for Key Entry.

I was testing with the following versions:

  • Moodle: 3.1.3+ Build: 20161115
  • Mobile App: 3.3.2
  • Phone: iOS 11.3

When accessing a chat activity, I am prompted with the following error:


The string translates to Detected invalid response value. The chat settings are as follows:



Any help or insight would be appreciated.

Hi,

this is a bug in Moodle (not the app), I fixed it (see MDL-60018).

Unfortunately the fix won't be able until  3.2.6, 3.3.3 or 3.4 are released

Thanks for pointing me to the MDL. I was looking in the tracker but filtering only for the Moodle Mobile project. I should have expanded my search.
