Separate Groups: Teacher in a group is receiving submissions' notifications from other groups

To whom it may concern,

I have multiple groups in a course containing each a teacher and multiple students,

In the assignment activity (mode separate groups), whenever Std1 in group1 submit his work, not just teacher1 in group1 will receive a submission's notification, but also teacher2 in group2 will receive a notification as well

Is there a way to limit sending notifications, i.e. whenever a student in a certain group submit his work, the teacher of this group will only receive a submission's notification ?

The best way to do this would be to create a new role based on the editing or nonediting teacher role and remove the permission to access all groups. Then assign your teachers to that role.

I removed the acessallgroups permission, but still non-editing teachers receiving notifications from groups' submissions,
