Hi,

We have added our SCORM package using the FILE resource in Moodle. Please confirm if the SCORM activity grade will still be auto recorded in gradebook? Why not? Thanks

no it won't. You must add it as a SCORM activity:

Thanks but we liked the view in the file resource as when we use the SCORM activity it does not display well. Is there a way that the grades display in the gradebook using the SCORM in the file resource? Any other alternative? Thanks. Urgent.

No.

perhaps you could explain the issues you have with the display when using it correctly in a SCORM activity and others might be able to suggest how to help.. but don't expect an immediate response.

btw... if this is really urgent you might consider paying for commercial level support from a Moodle Partner.

rklearn,

1. A Scorm activity amounts to a zipped file. Why would you want to include it in a Moodle course as a downloadable "File"?

2. Within the "Scorm activity" of Moodle, there are numerous settings to control how your Scorm will appear. If you want it in a popup, that's doable.

3. As to the Gradebook, there is a quirk with Scorm activities when first included in a grade category: you have to hide them, then show them. Otherwise, students don't see them in their Gradebook.
