In our first week of Moodle 3.4 QA testing, we've had a great response from people wanting to help. In addition to all the names mentioned in Help needed with Moodle 3.4 QA testing, many thanks also to Francisco, Rafael, Karen, Julie, Kahraman, Katarzyna, Pushkar, Eva, Eric, Juan, Ian, Bryan, Varun, Sasikala, Dr. Indira and Laurence.

According to the QA testing dashboard, after one week of testing, we now have 215 (37%) tests passed and 21(3%) failed. Great work everybody! smile The failed tests as good news as the passes, as it means we're discovering bugs for developers to investigate and fix prior to release.

We still have plenty of tests left to run though, so new testers are very welcome! Please read the QA testing guide and send me a message if you'd like to be added to the testers group.

Thanks Ashley, you're now in the testers group.

After 3 weeks of testing, we're currently up to 409 (71%) tests passed, 11 (1%) failed, with 156 tests left to run (source QA testing dashboard). As usual, the more complicated tests are left till last, however there are still quite a few tests not requiring a test server.

Remember if you're using the QA testing site to run tests, you need to choose tests which are NOT labeled test_server_required.

Another label which you may come across is credentials_required, which indicates that credentials such as a client ID and secret for OAuth 2 services are required to run the test.

Many thanks for everyone's help with testing - also Moodle HQ developers. We're aiming for a 100% pass rate this week, then Moodle 3.4 can be released next week as planned!
