Hi everyone,

I wish to find out how the button Reset dashboard for all users works.

I would like the admin changes to the default dashboard to be only pushed when ready, clicking on the reset button.
However, it does not seem to work that way.

On Moodle Sandbox (3.3.2), I did the following :

1. Log in as admin
2. Click once on the Reset dashboard for all users button.
   
3. Click on the Blocks editing on button.
4. Move some blocks around.
5. Click on the Blocks editing off button.
6. Log in as student
7. Click on Dashboard in the menu.

At this point, I expect the learners' dashboard to be the default dashboard from step 2.

I expect all changes made after step 2 not to be pushed automatically. What do you think of this logic ?

What happens is that changes made to the default dashboard in step 4 are automatically pushed for learners.

How does it work ?

Is there an amount of time during which all changes are pushed ?
