Two problems in one post is usually not a good idea ... but ...

Could be that your domain doesn't have DNS records mail servers would check to see if the mail coming from your Moodle (if not using an SMTP server) is 'spam'.

The second error ... might be Tours.   Search your site admin using that term ... 'tour' ... and check the settings.  Supposed to be for the new Boost theme and is for admin user and users.   Suggest turning off tours and see if that popup box goes away or not.
