How to show more course information in the lists?

Hi all,

so, I have recently successfully set up my first Moodle site and after having played around a lot (and I mean, a lot smile) I'm now pretty happy with how it turned out. There's one thing, however, I can't seem to get to work...

At the moment, the course lists (on the front page as well as on the more specific pages) merely show the title (long and short) of the courses, a short description and the trainer. I would like to add more details to that: say, the course category, the course duration, the number of activities and maybe an icon denoting free courses. And possibly even some additional fields (that I would have to add somehow) like the difficulty level.

In a nutshell, I would like to have the courses look somewhat like these:
https://www.futurelearn.com/courses
https://alison.com/learn/digital-creative-design
https://www.lynda.com/Design-training-tutorials/40-0.html

I know HTML, CSS and php and I am prepared to do the styling myself. However, I just don't know how to get Moodle to output the relevant information? Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks in advance,

Marcus

P.S.: I guess, what I would like to achieve will have to be solved using native Moodle-settings or code. So, I'm not sure, if the theme matters, but just in case... here's my configuration: I'm using Moodle version 3.3 and the most recent version of the Adaptable theme. And I have decided to set the front page to show Coventry tiles (but re-styled them).
