External Database Enrolment not working - Moodle 3.3+

I have tried to set up the external database for enrolments however the Moodle documentation doesn't seem to match my own Moodle.  https://docs.moodle.org/33/en/External_database_authentication


Unsure what I am doing wrong as the testing connection works.


Any thoughts and suggestions very gratefully received.

Hi Dave,

the documentation doesn't match your own Moodle site because you are looking at the authentication documentation, not the enrolment documentation. Have a look at https://docs.moodle.org/33/en/External_database_enrolment
