Exporting Moodle calendar directly to Android phone

Hi everybody,

I'm trying to export the moodle calendar directly to my Android (actually Lineage OS) phone. My goal is a one way sync to my phone.

Now in calendars on Android phones in order to import or one way sync a calendar you have to fill in

  • URL
  • username
  • password

When I choose export all I get is a URL my phone can't handle.

Is there a way to do a one way sync?

P.S. I do not want to go through Google or any kind of cloud service because of data security.

Hi Stefan,

I was wondering the same thing.  I don't know about you but I'm not very good with technology, but I am persistent. After playing around I realized you just need to log into Moodle using your phone. Then you upload it through there just like you would on your computer. Super simple, so simple in fact, it made me feel silly not knowing.! Now I have all my due dates at my fingertips on my phone's calendar! Yay!
