Everything works in the app except for when the course content is being accessed. The error message "Cannot get course contents" pops up.
The problem doesn't seem to be the app because I downloaded and installed the official Moodle app and I still get the same error.
If I can get some assistance I would greatly appreciate it since my students heavily depend on the app for accessing our Moodle platform.
this seems to be a bug in the Moodle Web Service or something wrong in the installation.
Could you send us a test user account of your site to email@example.com so we can check?

I must say thank you very much for your response and eagerness to assist.
After playing around with Moodle for some time I realized that I had the "Buttons Course format" installed but somehow the upgrade broke that plugin. After reinstalling the plugin the app was able to work flawlessly.
So just a word of advice for Moodle Admins out there, ensure and reinstall the "Buttons" plugin after a major upgrade if you had a previous installation of that plugin.
