A professor has created an assignment in Moodle, and if a student has submitted a paper copy of the assignment directly to the professor offline, the professor is unable to hide the 'assignment overdue' message from the student's timeline. The professor has manually graded the assignment and entered a grade, but it still remains. Is there a way the professor can manually mark the item as submitted? I had hoped once a grade was entered it would do that automatically, but it hasn't.
I'm sure there is probably an easy fix, but I'm afraid I haven't found it yet. Any help anyone could provide would be greatly appreciated!
