I am trying to publish a course at "https://virtualuniversity.in/course/view.php?id=25" at moodle.net to advertise this course for people to join.

My moodle version is 3.3.2. Consistently it returns following error:

A publication error has been returned by the hub. Please try again later.

Request you to help.

Have you added tags to the course? If so then can you remove them and try again thanks? There is a tracker issue regarding this /MDLSITE-4918

If you haven't already, can you turn on debugging and send any results to support@moodle.org which is where we can troubleshoot further the issue (and then report back here)? Can you think of something different this time from the other times you successfully published courses? Obviously something has changed.

I publish 6 courses from the same website to moodle.net. Last one published just a week ago.

Now, I have just upgrade the Moodle at "https://virtualuniversity.in" from version 3.3.1 to version 3.3.2.

Only after this upgrade problem is there.

I own following 2 websites:

  1. Virtual eUniversity - https://virtualuniversity.in/
  2. IIT Way - https://iitway.com/

Recently, I upgrade Moodle at above both domains to latest version, that is, Moodle 3.4 version.

I wish to provide Free Mini MOOCs for School or Higher Education, which can be successfully completed in just a Single Week, on Smartphone !

I developed total 19 Mini MOOCs as per the following details (all on Moodle 3.4 version) and publish each Mini MOOC at above mentioned my both websites:

  1. Psychology - Total 11 Mini MOOCs (Browse List Here - IIT Way, Virtual eUniversity)
  2. Anatomy Physiology - Total 08 Mini MOOCs (Browse List Here - IIT Way, Virtual eUniversity)

I wish to share above all Mini MOOCs (each one, published at my both domains, that is, IIT Way and Virtual eUniversity) at Moodle.Net for people to join for free.

I could successfully completed sharing process. But, when, I attempt to check Listing Status on Moodle.Net, it fires errors.

Screenshot of errors is attached herewith for your reference.

Kindly suggest solution to this problem.

Hello. When I search Moodle.net with the keyword MOOC I see several of your mini-MOOCs. Can you please do the same, check which ones (if any) are missing, submit them again and I will approve them (again) and we can see if that makes a difference. I am certainly not aware of any courses being deleted, so we need to explore this more.

Just one update for your information.

  1. I upgrade Moodle at above both domains to latest version, that is, Moodle 3.4 version, by new fresh installation and restoring all Mini MOOCs from backup at their respective ids.
  2. Secondly, I am publishing same Mini MOOC at both domains.

Do you believe, this is causes above problem?

I could successfully completed sharing process. But, only when, I attempt to check Listing Status on Moodle.Net, it fires errors.

(1) I am not sure, but I would imagine if you are upgrading and restoring like this then you would have to resubmit all the courses.

(2) I don't think that should be a problem

I have this morning (Sunday morning UK time) approved new courses I see you submitted yesterday so please check again and let me know which are missing, Please bear in mind the courses have to be manually approved and it is the weekend atm wink

Hi I am not sure if this is relevant or not, but did you use your original Moodledata directory when you upgraded to 3.4?
