Hi,

Should we add LinkedIn as one of the defaults user profile fields?

Not sure if so many people use the current defaults: AIM, ICQ...

Any one to vote on the tracker?

(I tried a post in the dev forum without much enthousiasm, this a last try)

Regards

François

A better idea would be to find a way to re-order the profile fields (including the custom user profile fields) - see: MDL-10504 - that way you can add various custom user profile fields and put them in any order you want.

None of the above. Like a billion others, my students all use Wechat as their instant messaging both  individually and in groups, to send photos, links, emojis, and to voice and video call. They use it far more than they do email or any other service.

So I used the language customization to rename the AIM ID to Wechat ID. Seems to be the easiest solution as I could then use it to contact students if they don't respond to emails.
