I have a program chair who has all of his faculty complete a skills/behavior rubric for every student for accreditation purposes. He wants to be able to aggregate data at semester or year end into an CSV or Excel. He's looking to see if Competencies will:
a) Show student skills/behavior competencies at the course level
b) Capture how students are performing as a whole (across the entire program) for each skill/behavior
c) Give individual student feedback for each competency
As I began building a competency framework, I came up with a few questions:
- Does the competency framework need to align with a learning plan?
- Can comp framework be shared across institution?
- Can the scale be changed to 1-4 vs. Proficient, Merit, etc?
