I'm currently using Moodle 3.3 from Gnomio. I'm very happy that the new version is so great, especially the Course Overview Block. However, I have a little bit issue with this feature.
Is there anyway that we can adjust the coding or any setting somewhere that I can set the Timeline's Sort by Course as default instead of Sorts by date. I have been looking for that setting.

You can do this from Version 3.3.1 of Moodle - there is an admin setting "Default tab" which allows you to choose. See the site admin setting in the Course overview documentation. I expect you will need to check if Gnomio have upgraded their sites to 3.3.1 (we are now on 3.3.2).
Gnomio just upgraded all sites to 3.2.2. I did saw the setting to set Timeline at default tab. However, there is not setting for Sort by Courts at default tab. I don't know maybe I didnt see it somewhere.
