Books - referencing them in other courses

Hi,

Am a Moodle/Totara newbie, and trying to reference a moodle book from my front page of my site to all my courses.  Is the file option, and alias the best option?  i can't work out how to find my book using the system folders search etc.

I've done my best to search around for a solution for this, but hope this group can assist with a simple answer....

The book is sitting on my front page of moodle, and is like a reference guide for all our courses (useful HTML etc).

Thanks in advance for your assistance.

Kath

Hi Kath

You could copy the URL of your Book resource on the front page and then add a URL resource (paste the URL into the link area) to the course you want to put it in. If you want it in all site courses, you may want to try adding an HTML 'sticky block' and paste/link the URL of the Book into whatever wording is appropriate.

Here is an example of linking to another page within text.....Click >Here< to read more about a 'sticky block'.
